Cost Avoidance Reports The graph below depicts the savings achieved on a monthly basis for a building. The savings analysis is completed using either of the two well known energy accounting programs, FASER or METRIX. These programs strip away changes in the weather, billing periods, and rate schedules to give a detailed accounting of the true energy savings. Building owners/managers should be aware that savings do not have to be monitored by the Energy Service Company (ESCO) involved. Costs for third party monitoring can be incorporated directly into the performance contract and will be very comparable to ESCO monitoring.
